The International Energy Agency’s Ocean Energy Systems (IEA-OES) has announced that the next edition of the Global Ocean Energy event, ICOE 2026, will take place in The Hague, Netherlands.
The announcement was made at this year’s event, held September 17-19 in Melbourne, Australia. This energy conference, especially focused on wave, tidal, ocean currents, OTEC and salinity gradient technologies, will be organized by the Dutch Energy from Water Association (EWA), in collaboration with partners Campus@Sea, The Hague & Partners, Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP), TU Delft, IRO and NedZero.

ICOE is a biennial conference that plays a key role in advancing ocean energies worldwide. It brings together leading professionals, researchers, policymakers, and supply chain experts from across the globe to share the latest research, technologies, and best practices. This global event unites experts from offshore wind, oil and gas, aquaculture, and ocean energy sectors.
