Lagos Retired Heads of Service Hail Governor Sanwo-Olu’s ‘Ounje Eko’ Initiative

The Association of Lagos State Retired Heads of Service and Permanent Secretaries (ALARHOSPS) has commended Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his ‘Ounje Eko’ ideal, emphasizing that it demonstrates the state’s commitment to the well-being of its residents.

In a statement issued by the President, Nurudeen Ojora-Adejiyan, and the Publicity Secretary, Olusina Thorpe, the association lauded the initiative and urged the governor and his team to maintain their focus while fine-tuning strategies for even greater success.

Specifically, President Ojora-Adejiyan expressed appreciation to the Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, for the quality of work on the Third Mainland Bridge. He emphasized the importance of applying such standards to all projects undertaken in the state.

However, Ojora-Adejiyan also raised concerns about the removal of aluminum railings on the Third Mainland Bridge by unscrupulous individuals. He called on law enforcement agencies to take decisive action by apprehending and prosecuting those responsible for such acts of vandalism.

The association’s statement underscores the importance of maintaining infrastructure integrity and ensuring the safety and well-being of Lagos residents.
