FCT Minister Appoints Sani Musa Daura as Senior Special Assistant on Protocol

Outgoing FCTA Protocol Director to continue serving in key advisory role.

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has appointed Mr Sani Musa Daura as his Senior Special Assistant on Protocol Matters.

The announcement was made on Wednesday in a statement by the minister’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka. The statement described Daura as “a seasoned civil servant with over 30 years experience in the FCTA Protocol Department.”

Daura, who was appointed Director of FCT Protocol in 2019, is expected to retire from the civil service on January 24, 2026. His appointment as Senior Special Assistant will take effect from the date of his retirement, allowing him to continue contributing his expertise in protocol matters to the FCT administration.
