Former President Buhari Congratulates President Tinubu on ECOWAS Chairmanship

Former President Muhammadu Buhari has extended his congratulations to President Bola Tinubu on his election as the Chairman of the Authority of Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS). Tinubu assumed the role of ECOWAS Chairman during the 63rd Ordinary Session of the regional bloc held in Bissau, Guinea-Bissau.

In a statement released by his media aide, Garba Shehu, Buhari expressed his elation upon hearing the news.
