Christian Women Fellowship lnternational (CWFI) inspires women at 50TH Bishopric Convention

The Church of God Mission International Lagos Headquarters was filled with excitement and celebration as women from various provinces of the church and from all walks of life gathered to mark the 50th anniversary of the Bishopric Convention in 2024.

Chief guest Minister Rev. Mrs. Nnenna Godson emphasized the importance of women’s leadership and empowerment in both the church and today’s society. Seasoned speaker Mrs. Titilola Vivour-Adeniyi, Executive Secretary of the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency, addressed the topic of Domestic and Sexual Violence, shedding light on the legal aspects concerning offenders.

Dr. Odunayo Ani, President of the Women International Shipping and Trading Association, spoke on “Financial Skills for 21st Century Christian Women,” while Rev. Mrs. Maureen Okoro-Sokoh, Group Director of Estymol group, discussed “The Supernatural Woman and her Lifestyle – Work-Life Balance.”

The event, skillfully coordinated by CWFI top executives and planning committees, featured online and live performances, street evangelism and rally, as well as empowerment initiatives such as distribution of grinding machines, items, clothes, and food.

The CWFI has been dedicated to upholding the dignity of womanhood through financial enlightenment, empowerment, and enhancing leadership skills in women through seminars, conferences, education, and skills acquisition.

In conclusion, the convention served as a platform to celebrate women of substance, empower others, and foster a sense of inclusion and support in the church and within their communities.
