Air Peace has announced a major milestone in Nigerian aviation by becoming the first Nigerian airline to operate direct flights from Abuja to both London Heathrow and Gatwick airports.
In a press release issued by spokesperson Efe Osifo-Whiskey, the airline revealed that travellers across Nigeria can now book seamless throughfares via Abuja to either of the two major London airports using a single ticket, simplifying travel logistics by eliminating the need for multiple bookings or baggage re-checks.
“Travellers from London can access multiple destinations across Nigeria using a single Air Peace ticket through Abuja every morning,” Osifo-Whiskey said.
Current Nigerian destinations available through this service include Lagos, Port Harcourt, Enugu, Benin, Warri, Owerri, Kano, Yola, Gombe, and Asaba, with more to be added in the future.
Air Peace emphasized its commitment to democratising international air travel, unveiling round-trip fares starting from ₦1 million, which went live on Sunday.
“This latest offer, combined with unmatched domestic connectivity, is yet another bold step in democratising international air travel for Nigerians,” the airline stated.
With this expansion, Air Peace continues to challenge the status quo and pioneer transformative routes across the African aviation landscape, enhancing Nigeria’s global connectivity.
