D.Warriors, one of Nigeria’s most dynamic and vibrant scrabble teams, has unveiled a team of three seasoned champions to represent them at the 2025 PANASA President’s Cup.
The second edition of the President’s Cup, dubbed the “Triumvirate Showdown,” is a major shift from last year’s individual format, now introducing a team-based competition.
The 2025 edition allows players to form teams from the same or different nationalities. D.Warriors has chosen to go with the multi-country option, signing two continental heavyweights and a rising star to spearhead their campaign for glory.
The three elite scrabble players selected to represent D.Warriors are Charles Tachie-Menson from Ghana, Geria Richard from Uganda, and Nicole Achan from Kenya.
Co-owner Khaleel Adedeji shared the excitement behind the team’s formation, stating that the decision was aligned with D.Warriors’ mission to make an indelible mark at the continental stage, similar to their stellar performance at the MGI Scrabble League in Nigeria.
“This year’s President’s Cup initiative is a team format, and that excites me a lot because I believe so much in teamwork,” Adedeji remarked. “Talents or individuality win games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships.
D.Warriors is a symbol we have flagged during the MGI League season, and our goal is not only to participate but to channel the fighting spirit of a warrior to secure the necessary wins for the Championship.”

Her explosive playstyle and determination have caught the attention of many, and she has been chosen as the team captain.
Her leadership qualities and commitment to excellence make her the perfect choice to lead D.Warriors on their championship journey.
A Strong Team, A Strong Vision
The D.Warriors management placed emphasis on selecting players based not only on skill but also on attitude and character. “We believe attitude is everything and unity is strength,” said Adedeji. “Tachie’s resilience, Geria’s calmness, and Achan’s desire for perfection make them a formidable team. Together, they will put in the work needed to win the championship.”
With the tournament slated for August 2025, D.Warriors has one goal in mind – to win. The team’s collective talent, experience, and spirit promise to make them a formidable force in the Triumvirate Showdown.
