Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Kigali ahead of the 13th edition of the Africa CEO Forum scheduled to begin on Thursday.
The President was received at the Presidential Wing of the Kigali International Airport by Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bianca Ojukwu, and Rwanda’s Minister of Defence, Juvenal Marizamunda.
Other officials present included Nigeria’s Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Jumoke Oduwole, the Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency, Ambassador Mohammed Mohammed, Nigeria’s Chargé d’Affaires in Rwanda, Ambassador Ibrahim Zanna, and the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Public Communication, Chief Sunday Dare.

Founded in 2012 by Jeune Afrique Media Group and co-hosted by the International Finance Corporation, the Africa CEO Forum has grown into the continent’s largest annual gathering of private sector leaders, policymakers and investors.
The event focuses on driving economic transformation through regional integration, cross-border investments and stronger public-private collaboration across Africa.
This year’s forum is themed, “The Scale Imperative: Why Africa Must Embrace Shared Ownership.”
During the summit, President Tinubu is expected to speak on the topic, “Holding the Line: Nigeria’s Reform Bet in a Fractured World.”
The President is expected to highlight the progress and challenges associated with Nigeria’s ongoing economic reforms and broader efforts to strengthen the country’s economy amid global uncertainties.
Tinubu will also hold bilateral meetings with African and international business leaders as part of efforts to attract investments and deepen strategic partnerships.
According to the Presidency, the Nigerian leader will use the summit to reaffirm Nigeria’s commitment to African unity, regional economic cooperation and private sector-led sustainable development.
The forum is expected to bring together leading executives, investors and government officials from across Africa and beyond to discuss the continent’s economic future and investment opportunities.
