FCT Chairman (APC) describes demise of FCT PDP Chairman Zaka as great loss to Nigeria’s political arena

The FCT Chairman of the All progressive Congress (APC ) Alhaji Abdul-Malik Usman has described the demise of the FCT PDP Chairman Sunday Zaka as great loss to the political arena of the nation’s capital.

According to him, the late PDP Chairman was his personal friend and colleague.

Mr. Sunday Zaka was reported to have died on his way home to Kuje from a party engagement around 3:00am alongside his personal security aide and orderly in the early hours of Saturday 25th February a few hours before the start of the Presidential elections.

The state party’s secretary, Bako Angulu confirmed the death to newsmen in the early hours of Saturday.

He said Zakka along side his orderly and driver died in a ghastly motor accident off Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport- Kuje Road, Abuja on Friday’s night.

Zakka was on his way to Kuje his home town in preparation for Saturday’s presidential and National assembly elections.

A chieftain of the party, Michael Kpatuba broke the news via a post on his Facebook page on Saturday morning describing his death as heart breaking to the FCT PDP family.

“Dying Election day is really heartbroken to the FCT, PDP family.

“Rest in peace, Hon Zaka Sunday, FCT PDP Chairman”, the post read.
