Regina Daniels Breaks Down in Tears Over Brother’s Detention, Family Struggles

Regina had previously hinted at experiencing domestic violence, an allegation her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, denied claiming instead that she needed rehabilitation for substance abuse.

Popular Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has broken down in tears over ongoing family struggles and the continued detention of her brother, Sammy.

In an emotional video shared on her Instagram Story, Daniels expressed deep frustration and despair, admitting that she was struggling emotionally and mentally.

“I tried. I feel like I’m going crazy, I’m losing my mind, and it’s not making any sense. I’m really crying in front of everybody,” she said tearfully in the video.

The actress revealed that her current distress revolves around her brother’s prolonged detention, which has taken a toll on her mental health.

She also disclosed that her estranged parents had reunited in a bid to secure Sammy’s release, describing the development as a moment of hope amid her pain.

“Two concluded sworn enemies reuniting with no negative ulterior motive other than their daughter’s happiness,” she wrote.

Regina had previously hinted at experiencing domestic violence, an allegation her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, denied claiming instead that she needed rehabilitation for substance abuse.

In her latest video, Daniels appeared conflicted, hinting at a possible return to her husband while expressing confusion about her situation.

“But please, what am I even begging for? I don’t know. Do you guys think it’s easy? Every time I wake up, I say one thing  oh my brother, today I hear good news, he’s about to be free, then tomorrow I hear another thing. Like, what’s the problem? But I’ve tried. I have to go. I will go back,” she said emotionally.

Fellow actress Mercy Johnson has reportedly shown support by helping search for Sammy, Daniels’ brother.

Despite the turmoil, Daniels expressed gratitude for her parents’ reconciliation, saying it was done out of love and concern for her happiness.
