Tinubu Condoles APC Chairman Yilwatda Over Mother’s Death

Tinubu urged the APC Chairman to take solace in the legacy of his late mother, noting that her life of purpose and service would remain a source of inspiration.

President Bola Tinubu has extended his condolences to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nentawe Yilwatda, following the death of his mother, Mama Lydia Yilwatda.

Mama Yilwatda passed away on Sunday morning at the University of Jos Teaching Hospital at the age of 83.

In a statement issued on Monday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President described the deceased as “a woman of virtue who lived a life dedicated to faith, service, and the uplifting of her community.”

Tinubu urged the APC Chairman to take solace in the legacy of his late mother, noting that her life of purpose and service would remain a source of inspiration.

“The President enjoins the APC Chairman to accept her death as the will of Almighty God and be consoled by the life of purpose his mother lived,” the statement read.

He also prayed for the repose of Mama Yilwatda’s soul and asked God to grant the family strength in their moment of grief.
