The Nigerian superstar returns with a 17-track masterpiece, blending Afrobeat vibes with international collaborations.

Nigerian music sensation David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has officially released his much-anticipated fifth studio album, titled ‘5ive’.

The album comes two years after his chart-topping 2023 project, ‘Timeless’, which debuted at number one on Billboard’s World Albums Chart. With 17 tracks, 5ive showcases Davido’s signature blend of Afrobeat, Afropop, and global rhythms.

Ahead of the album’s release, Davido dropped a series of singles, including ‘Be There Still’, ‘Funds’ featuring Odumodublvck and Chike, and ‘Awuke’, a soulful track featuring YG Marley.

‘Funds’ stands out with Davido’s high energy, Odumodublvck’s gritty delivery, and Chike’s smooth vocals. Another highlight is ‘Titanium’, a collaboration with Chris Brown, where the duo sings about emotional resilience in love. On ‘Offa Me’, featuring Victoria Monet, Davido explores themes of desire, while ‘Nuttin Dey’ reaffirms his confidence and staying power in the music industry.

Other notable guest appearances include Omah Lay, Victony, Becky G, and Shensea, making 5ive a truly global affair.

With 5ive, Davido cements his place as one of Africa’s biggest music exports, continuing to evolve while staying true to his roots.
