Nigeria under 18 and 20 handball male teams, Thursday, continued their winning streak on day 3 of the IHF Trophy Tournament for Africa Zone 3 ongoing in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
The Under 18 team led by Coach Emeka Nnamani, though did not score multiple goals as recorded on Wednesday when they defeated Liberia 79-15, comfortably defeated Benin Republic 39-15.
In the same pace, Nigeria’s Under 20 team tutored by their gaffer, Coach Fidelis Obi also got a 38-23 win against rival Ghana in a match played just few hours after their under 18 compatriots.
Nigeria will know their semi final opponents in the two categories at the end of all day matches.
The winners in both categories will participate in the continental phase of the IHF Trophy Tournament for Africa which will hold in Brazzaville, Congo from December 12 to 18, 2022.
