The program is part of a broader global effort spanning Latin America and Asia, aimed at supporting and scaling startups dedicated to addressing the impacts of climate change.
Greentech 2024 seeks to empower startups that are working towards mitigating environmental damage, enhancing agricultural practices and nutrition, reducing waste and pollution, conserving natural resources, and improving access to water, sanitation, and healthcare. The program will provide support to startups focusing on areas such as cleantech and climate tech, agri-tech and food security, circular and regenerative economy, natural resource management, and water, sanitation, and health.
The call for applications is open to regional startups across Africa that are developing solutions to accelerate the transition towards sustainable development. Through Greentech 2024, selected startups will receive mentorship, funding, and access to resources to scale their innovative solutions.
By fostering collaboration and innovation among startups, Greentech 2024 aims to catalyze positive change and drive impactful solutions to address the pressing challenges posed by climate change. The program underscores the importance of collective action and innovation in building a more sustainable and resilient future for Africa and beyond.
