Regina Daniels fires back at AGN President Emeka Rollas: “Something is wrong with you for saying I need help”

Actress accuses Rollas of misconduct after he claimed she needed help amid marital crisis.

Actress Regina Daniels has slammed the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Emeka Rollas, after he publicly stated that she “needs help” amid her ongoing marital crisis with her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.

Rollas had earlier taken to Instagram, urging Regina’s mother, Rita Daniels, to focus on her daughter’s wellbeing instead of pursuing the AGN presidency. He also criticised certain Nollywood veterans for staying silent about the situation, saying, “Regarding Regina, we all know she needs help. Your silence is unfair.”

Responding via her Instagram story, Regina Daniels wrote:
“Respectfully, there must be something wrong with you, sir, to say I need help?”

The actress further accused the AGN president of ingratitude, corruption, and inappropriate behaviour, claiming he enriches himself under the guise of caring for actors.

She alleged:
“You are a disgrace of a president who just visits one office to another, enriching your pocket under the guise of catering to the wellbeing of actors.”

Regina also claimed Rollas had brought women to her family home multiple times “to take swimming lessons,” despite her warnings—an act she said reflects his bitterness toward her.

The exchange comes amid a widening scandal between Regina and her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko. In a viral video, the actress accused the senator of domestic violence, while Nwoko denied the claims, alleging instead that she is involved in drug abuse.

As the controversy continues to unfold, Nollywood fans and industry stakeholders watch closely, with many calling for restraint and due process from all parties involved.
