Legend Extra Stout has teamed up with award-winning singer and songwriter Adekunle Gold to celebrate Nigerian music, creativity, and cultural pride through a vibrant street carnival in Lagos.
The event, themed ‘Legend Extra Stout x Mainland BlockParty’, was held on Broad Street, Lagos Island, as part of the celebration of Adekunle Gold’s sixth studio album, Fuji. The collaboration highlights both the artist’s evolving sound and Legend Extra Stout’s commitment to supporting authentic Nigerian artistry.
In a statement, the company said the partnership reflects the brand’s values of boldness and originality. “Legend Extra Stout stands for boldness and originality, and our collaboration with Gold embodies that spirit. This partnership celebrates not just music but the creativity and energy that define Nigeria,” it noted.
The carnival featured electric performances from Adekunle Gold, rapper Zlatan, and fast-rising artist Tml Vibez, thrilling the crowd with unforgettable moments. One of the highlights came when Gold paid tribute to Fuji music—the genre that inspired his latest project—by sharing the stage with Fuji legends Saheed Osupa, Taye Currency, and Obesere.
At the heart of the celebration was Legend Extra Stout’s signature bar experience, where guests enjoyed the brand’s rich, bold flavour. The event underscored the brand’s mission to honour Nigeria’s cultural heritage while connecting with a new generation of expressive and creative Nigerians.
