A coalition of Nigerian tribal leaders under the aegis of The Natives has praised Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, describing him as a vital link between the government and Nigerian youths.
In a statement issued on Monday in Abuja and signed by the group’s Supreme Leader, Hon. Olalekan Smart Edwards, The Natives said Seyi Tinubu has played a stabilising role in the current administration by fostering youth participation in governance.
According to the statement, Seyi Tinubu has supported various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) in creating platforms for young Nigerians to engage in policy discussions, political appointments, and national development initiatives.
The group noted that previous administrations struggled to connect with the youth population, but credited the President’s son for bridging that gap through direct engagement with communities, student groups, and youth-based organisations.
“Seyi Tinubu represents the missing link in past administrations. His active involvement has strengthened youth inclusion in governance and opened new opportunities for young people in leadership and decision-making,” the statement read.
The Natives added that his influence can be seen in several youth-focused initiatives rolled out by the current government, reflecting a generational shift towards greater inclusion and participation of young Nigerians in national development.
While congratulating Seyi Tinubu on his 40th birthday, the group commended his efforts to encourage young people to take responsibility for shaping Nigeria’s future.
