The Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr. Taiwo Oyedele, Co-Chair of the Lagos International Financial Centre (LIFC), Mr. Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede, and Chief Executive Officer of Moniepoint Group, Mr. Tosin Eniolorunda, have been confirmed as key speakers for the 2026 Invest Lagos Summit.
The third edition of the summit is scheduled to hold from June 8 to June 9, 2026, and is expected to attract government officials, investors, business leaders and development partners from across the world.
Organised by the Lagos State Government through the Ministry of Commerce, Cooperatives, Trade and Investment, the summit aims to strengthen Lagos’ position as Africa’s leading destination for investment, trade, innovation and economic partnerships.
The two-day event will focus on unlocking investment opportunities and accelerating sustainable economic growth across key sectors of the economy.
Participants will engage in discussions covering a wide range of topics, including Lagos as Africa’s Global Gateway, the Future of Technology and Innovation, Unlocking Investment, Building the Cities of the Future, Global Partnerships for Growth, Talent, Creativity and Culture, and Energy and Sustainability.
The summit will bring together stakeholders from both the public and private sectors to explore opportunities in technology, infrastructure, energy, manufacturing, finance, creative industries and urban development.
Speaking ahead of the event, the Commissioner for Information and Strategy and Head of the Media Subcommittee, Mr. Gbenga Omotoso, said the summit has been designed to deliver practical outcomes that can attract new investments into Lagos State.
According to him, the event will serve as a platform to showcase the state’s ongoing investments in transportation, technology, energy, manufacturing, tourism and urban development, while highlighting opportunities available to both local and international investors.
Omotoso described Invest Lagos 3.0 as a strategic platform that connects investors with viable opportunities and promotes partnerships capable of driving economic growth and job creation.
He noted that the summit would provide an avenue for government leaders, global investors, development institutions and corporate executives to discuss projects and initiatives that can strengthen Lagos’ economic competitiveness.
In addition to panel discussions and keynote sessions, the summit will feature investment pitches by state governors, exhibitions by participating organisations and networking sessions for investors and business leaders.
Attendees will also participate in a gala dinner and guided visits to major industrial and infrastructure projects, including the Dangote Petroleum Refinery, Lagos Free Zone, Lagos Port and RusselSmith’s advanced manufacturing facility.
Stakeholders believe the summit will further enhance Lagos’ reputation as a preferred destination for investment and economic development in Africa.
