President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Dr Ike Neliaku, President of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, on his re-election to the Board of the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management for another two-year term.
Dr Neliaku secured the renewed mandate during the Board’s Annual General Meeting held in Prague, following a competitive election involving representatives from member countries around the world.
President Tinubu described the re-election as a strong endorsement of Neliaku’s professional excellence, visionary leadership, and commitment to advancing ethical and strategic public relations practice both within Nigeria and internationally.
He noted that the development reflects Nigeria’s increasing influence in global communication and highlights the competence and reputation of Nigerian professionals on the world stage.
The President also commended Neliaku for his continued efforts in promoting transparency, innovation, and excellence in public relations and communication management.
He expressed confidence that the renewed tenure would further strengthen international collaboration and support professional development within the global PR community.
Tinubu assured that the Federal Government will continue to back initiatives aimed at improving Nigeria’s global image and strengthening its professional presence internationally.
