AfriGO cards are now available on the PalmPay app, allowing Nigerians to request the national domestic card directly from their mobile devices. The integration expands access by enabling the card request process across both digital and physical channels, leveraging PalmPay’s existing ecosystem for payments, transfers, and other financial services.

AfriGO cards are designed for widespread use across Nigeria, with acceptance on ATMs, Point of Sale (POS) terminals, and online platforms nationwide. PalmPay users can request an AfriGO card through the app, or access in-person support via PalmPay customer experience centers and over 500,000 agents across the country.

Commenting on the integration, AfriGO Managing Director Ebehijie Momoh said:
“AfriGO represents our long-term vision for a payments ecosystem that is designed around Nigeria’s needs and realities. By making AfriGO cards available on the PalmPay app, we are removing barriers to access and ensuring that more Nigerians can participate fully in the digital economy.”

PalmPay Managing Director Chika Nwosu added:
“Many Nigerians still face challenges accessing reliable card service. By enabling AfriGO card requests directly on the PalmPay app, we’re making banking smarter and more accessible, while giving users the confidence to pay seamlessly across Nigeria’s payment ecosystem.”

The move reinforces AfriGO’s commitment to expanding distribution through trusted digital platforms and promoting the adoption of a payment solution tailored to Nigeria’s market.
