The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that the 2025 Batch ‘C’ Orientation Course will commence on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, across all orientation camps in Nigeria.
According to the official statement signed by Caroline Embu, the Director of Information and Public Relations, camp registration for all prospective corps members will run from Wednesday, November 19, to midnight on Friday, November 21, 2025.
“The swearing-in ceremony holds on Friday, November 21, while the closing ceremony will take place on Tuesday, December 9, 2025,” the statement read.
Embu added that the Director-General of NYSC, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, has extended his best wishes to all prospective corps members, urging them to travel safely and avoid night journeys.
Earlier on Tuesday, PUNCH Online reported that the NYSC released call-up numbers for the 2025 Batch C prospective corps members via its official X (formerly Twitter) account.
“The NYSC management is pleased to announce that call-up numbers for 2025 Batch C Prospective Corps Members have been released, based on registration order,” the scheme stated.
The NYSC also clarified that due to capacity constraints across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, only about 40 per cent of registered prospective corps members will participate in the current Batch C orientation exercise.
Those unable to secure placement in this batch will be automatically deferred to the next orientation programme, the statement added.
The NYSC remains one of Nigeria’s most enduring youth initiatives, aimed at fostering national unity, discipline, and skills development among young graduates.
