Tinubu Appoints Five New Permanent Secretaries to Strengthen Federal Civil Service

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of five new Permanent Secretaries in the Federal Civil Service to fill existing vacancies and strengthen leadership across ministries, departments, and agencies.

The newly appointed Permanent Secretaries are:

  • Ibrahim Abdulkarim Ozi – Federal Capital Territory
  • Ezemama John Chidiebere – Imo State
  • Garba Abdul Sule Usman – North Central
  • Mohammed Musa Ishiyaku – North East
  • Ukaire Binyerem Chigbowu – South East

According to a statement from the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, the appointments followed a rigorous and transparent selection process aligned with the administration’s commitment to meritocracy and excellence.

The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack, congratulated the new appointees and commended President Tinubu for his consistent effort to promote professionalism, transparency, and competence in the civil service.
