Award-winning Nigerian singer Lil Kesh has spoken publicly for the first time following a violent attack in Lagos that left him injured.
According to reports, the Afrobeat star was ambushed by armed robbers, who stabbed him in the neck and inflicted a severe injury to his ear. The assailants also allegedly made away with his expensive jewellery worth millions of naira.
Breaking his silence, Lil Kesh took to social media to reassure fans of his safety and recovery.
“Life threw me a curveball, but I’m safe, healing, and blessed to be here. Grateful for the love, support and prayers,” he wrote.
The artiste, known for hits like Shoki and Efejoku, said his focus is now on healing after the traumatic incident. His message has drawn an outpouring of support from fans and fellow musicians, with many expressing relief and offering prayers for his swift recovery.
