Italian football giants Juventus are reportedly planning a summer move for Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman. The Bianconeri are looking to strengthen their attack ahead of the 2025/26 season, and the Nigerian duo have been identified as top targets.
Tuttosport reveals that the Serie A club has placed both Super Eagles forwards high on their priority list as they look to reshape their front line. With Dusan Vlahovic increasingly likely to leave and uncertainty surrounding Randal Kolo Muani, Juventus is keen on signing proven scorers capable of improving their attacking output.
Currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, Osimhen has established himself as one of Europe’s most prolific finishers. His impressive performances have led to speculation that he will leave Napoli at the end of the season. The striker has a €75m release clause for clubs outside Italy, which Juventus is reportedly monitoring closely. However, triggering the clause would require significant financial maneuvering, according to reports.
Meanwhile, Ademola Lookman has been one of Atalanta’s standout players since joining from RB Leipzig. Known for his pace, directness, and tactical discipline, Lookman has caught the attention of Juventus, who view him as an ideal fit for Thiago Motta’s forward line. However, Atalanta is expected to demand a fee in the region of €60m for the winger.
Both players have enjoyed stellar campaigns in Serie A and are seen as marquee-level signings capable of making an immediate impact at Juventus. With Osimhen and Lookman having won the last two African Footballer of the Year awards, Juventus is eager to secure their services for the upcoming season.
Reports also suggest that while Juventus are linked with former Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund, the club plans to make only two attacking signings. As of now, Osimhen and Lookman are the front-runners on the Bianconeri’s shortlist.
Though no formal offers have been submitted, Tuttosport indicates that internal discussions within Juventus continue as they weigh the best approach to negotiations for the two Nigerian forwards.
