The Federation of Tourism Associations of Nigeria (FTAN) has officially announced the Minister of Arts, Culture, Tourism and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musa Musawa, as the Chief Hostess for the eighth edition of the Nigeria Tourism Investment Forum and Exhibition (NTIFE) 2025.
Scheduled for November 28, 2025, in Abuja, the Forum will also host ambassadors, corporate leaders, and directors of key tourism parastatals. Among the notable special guests are Olayiwola Awakan, Director General of the Nigerian Tourism Development Authority (NTDA); Aare Abisoye Fagade, DG of the National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism (NIHOTOUR); Ahmed Bashir Sodangi, DG of the National Gallery of Arts (NGA); Olugbile Holloway, DG of the National Commission for Museums and Monuments (NCMM); and Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, DG of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA).
Ace journalist and public affairs commentator, Babajide Kolade-Otitoju, Head of Current Affairs at TVC News, Lagos, will deliver the keynote address, under the theme: “National Tourism Investment and Global Partnership.”
The forum’s distinguished panel includes Mrs. Lolo Ngozi Ngoka, Managing Director of Zigona Travel Advisory; Dr. Tony Elumelu, former Director of the Private Sector Department at ECOWAS Commission; Dr. Victor Dare, Group Managing Director of Better Ways Group; Prince Philip Orebiyi, General Manager of Kogi State Hotel Board; and Mr. Victor Kayode, President of the Nigeria Hotel and Catering Institute (NHCI).
Commenting on the lineup, FTAN stated, “Each panellist brings a wealth of experience, fresh perspectives, and a strong commitment to advancing Nigeria’s tourism sector. Their insights will inspire meaningful dialogue and help shape practical pathways for investment, collaboration, and growth.”
The one-day Forum will be preceded by an Investiture and Award Night, with details of awardees and tourism icons to be announced soon.
FTAN expects the event to attract state governments, investors, policymakers, tourism professionals, foreign envoys, and international partners, all collaborating to chart new pathways for Nigeria’s tourism growth and economic diversification.
