29th Annual Conference to Explore Risks, Opportunities, and Strategic Funding Pathways for Nigeria’s Aviation Sector
The League of Airport and Aviation Correspondents (LAAC) has unveiled a high-profile lineup for its 29th Annual Conference, scheduled to take place on Thursday, 7 August 2025 at the Providence Hotel, GRA Ikeja, Lagos.
Themed ‘Aviation Financing in Nigeria: The Risks, Opportunities and Prospects,”** this year’s event aims to spark strategic conversations around sustainable investment models, industry restructuring, and financing challenges within Nigeria’s aviation landscape.
Mr. Gbenga Alade, Managing Director/CEO of the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON), will chair the event, bringing with him a wealth of experience in corporate finance and economic recovery.
The keynote address will be delivered by Dr. Gabriel Gbenga Olowo, Chairman of Sabre Central and West Africa and a respected voice in aviation economics and airline strategy.
Adding further weight to the discussions, Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, SAN, will attend as Special Guest of Honour, while Captain Chris Najomo, Director-General of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) will deliver a goodwill message reflecting the regulatory perspective.
