Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Wednesday joined Muslim faithful to observe Eid prayers at Dodan Barracks in Lagos, marking the celebration alongside top government officials and political allies.
The President was accompanied by key figures including his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila; National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu; former Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola; and Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, among other dignitaries.

According to a social media post by presidential aide Dada Olusegun, Tinubu observed the prayers alongside other Muslim faithful at the military facility.
The post highlighted the President’s participation in the Eid Mubarak prayers alongside senior political and religious figures.
Meanwhile, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar also joined Muslim worshippers at the AYA Mosque in Abuja for Eid prayers.
In a message shared on social media, Atiku said the prayers were offered in gratitude to God for His blessings and urged Nigerians to embrace unity and peace.
“I joined fellow Muslims this morning at the AYA Mosque in Abuja to observe the Eid prayers in gratitude to Allah for His countless blessings,” he wrote.
He called on Nigerians to strengthen bonds of unity, compassion, sacrifice, and peaceful coexistence during the festive period.
“As we celebrate this sacred occasion, may the spirit of Eid strengthen our bonds of unity, compassion, sacrifice, and peace as one people and one nation,” he added.
Atiku also extended Eid greetings to Muslims across Nigeria and around the world, praying for lasting peace and prosperity in the country.
