Actor Tom Holland has been hospitalized after suffering a concussion on the set of Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

According to a report from TMZ, the incident occurred on Friday, September 19, 2025, while filming in New York. Holland was treated for a mild concussion and is expected to return to set in just a few days. No other individuals were injured.

Marvel Studios allegedly held a meeting following the accident to adjust the production schedule, ensuring the project continues without major delays.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is scheduled for release on July 31, 2026, marking the fourth installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Spider-Man franchise. The film is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers.

This chapter will take a more street-level approach, focusing on Spider-Man’s battles against everyday villains in New York City.

Tom Holland, who first appeared as Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War (2016), has built a strong career with roles in The Impossible (2012), How I Live Now (2013), and In the Heart of the Sea (2015). Despite the accident, fans are optimistic about his recovery and return as Marvel’s friendly neighborhood hero.
