Tijani Kabir has been named Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) Player of the Month for October, following a string of impressive performances for the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side.
The 23-year-old midfielder has been a key figure at the heart of Nurudeen Aweroro’s team, helping the Ibadan-based club record two wins, one draw, and one defeat during the month under review.
Kabir, who has become a fan favourite for his energy and creativity, has so far registered two assists in 11 appearances this season, underlining his growing influence in the team’s midfield setup.
Meanwhile, Ayodele Ismail was voted Goal of the Month winner for October, courtesy of his last-minute strike against Plateau United in a thrilling matchday seven encounter.
Both players were celebrated by the club’s management and supporters for their contributions to Shooting Stars’ strong start to the NPFL campaign.
