Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Seyi Awolowo, has revealed that he will never return to the reality TV show, citing unpleasant experiences during his time in the house.
The 35-year-old grandson of late Yoruba leader Obafemi Awolowo shared his views on the Old Secrets podcast, where he reflected on his journey in BBNaija Season 4 (Pepper Dem). Seyi, who finished fifth in the season’s finale, said he allowed himself to be bullied by what he described as “very low, insignificant and uneducated people.”
Although he admitted he wouldn’t change any of his actions in the house, he maintained that he has since learnt from his mistakes and sees no reason to return.
“I will never go back to the show, Multichoice can’t even call me,” Seyi said. “I allowed myself get bullied by very very insignificant and uneducated people. Not to mention the educated ones who saw the truth but refused to stand by it because of convenience.”
Since leaving the BBNaija platform, Seyi has built a career as an actor, content creator, and voice-over artist. Before his fame, he pursued a degree in psychology at Houdegbe North American University in Cotonou, Benin Republic, and briefly worked as a psychologist.
