The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, received renowned American streamer and internet personality Kai Cenat at the Lagos House, Marina, on Wednesday.
The governor’s Senior Special Assistant on New Media, Jubril A. Gawat, shared the development on X, noting that Cenat, on his second visit to Lagos, paid a courtesy call and discussed his experiences during his stay in the state.
“Kai Cenat is in Lagos to follow up on some projects and initiatives he plans to execute for kids and young people in Lagos State, Nigeria,” Gawat said.
Cenat is one of the most-followed global streamers, widely known for his content on Twitch and YouTube, where he commands a massive audience, particularly among young people.
While officials did not disclose further details of Cenat’s itinerary or engagements, the visit follows that of another American streamer, IShowSpeed, who toured Lagos in recent weeks, drawing large crowds and widespread attention on social media.
