The Kogi State Government has expressed appreciation to Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the appointment of James Faleke as Renewed Hope Ambassador and Deputy Secretary, Party Outreach, Engagement and Mobilisation.
The appointment was described as “well-deserved and nationally beneficial.”
In a Friday statement signed by the State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Femi Fanwo, Usman Ododo described the move as “a strategic masterstroke” by the President, noting that it placed a seasoned mobiliser in a critical position.
Ododo congratulated Faleke, an experienced federal lawmaker, stating that his record in political mobilisation and grassroots engagement makes him eminently qualified for the responsibility.
The governor assured Faleke of the full support of the state government in advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda. He expressed confidence that Nigerians would continue to benefit from the programme in the years ahead.
Ododo also commended the President for recognising competence and rewarding loyalty and performance in strengthening engagement and mobilisation efforts nationwide.
He maintained that the administration’s policies are gradually repositioning the nation’s economy, restoring fiscal discipline, and laying a sustainable foundation for long-term prosperity.
According to him, while ongoing reforms may be demanding, they are necessary steps toward building a stronger and more self-reliant Nigeria.
The governor urged Nigerians to sustain their support for the President, stressing that continuity in leadership would consolidate the gains of the Renewed Hope Agenda and accelerate national development. He added that re-electing Tinubu would guarantee stability, policy consistency, and improved welfare for citizens.
