Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Adekunle Olapade, has alleged that he was recently abducted and harassed by operatives of the Nigerian Police Force, claiming he was held against his will for several hours.
The Lagos-based reality TV star made the revelation in a post shared on his social media page, where he recounted being manhandled and handcuffed by the officers.
According to Adekunle, the incident lasted for eight hours, during which he said his life was in danger.
“What a night! [I was] kidnapped, harassed and handcuffed by the Nigerian Police Force in the last 8 hours. This story could have been a completely different one, and no one would have known. But glory be to God, I’m alive today,” he wrote.
The former BBNaija star did not disclose details about what led to the alleged abduction or the location of the incident.
As of the time of this report, the Nigerian Police Force has not issued any official response to Adekunle’s claims.
The post has since generated widespread reactions on social media, with fans and colleagues calling for an investigation into the alleged incident.
