Businessman and entertainer Emeka Okonkwo, popularly known as E-Money, has voiced his disappointment after content creator Carter Efe damaged a car he had gifted him, describing the act as “unnecessary” and “excessive.”
The incident occurred during a livestream stunt on Saturday involving Carter Efe and fellow creator Peller, during which the vehicle was wrecked.
Addressing the issue the following day, E-Money said the gift was a gesture of appreciation for Carter Efe’s creative efforts and was not meant to be treated recklessly.
“To be honest, I wasn’t happy about you guys destroying the car I gifted Carter Efe in less than 24 hours. I gave you the car because I appreciate what you’re doing,” E-Money said.
He also criticised the decision to perform the stunt live, noting the potential influence on viewers.
“You went overboard by destroying the car. You know, a lot of people were watching you. However, the mistake has already been made. I forgive you. But it should not happen again,” he added.
The incident has sparked widespread conversation online, especially as reports suggest Peller and Carter Efe also damaged each other’s vehicles during the broadcast.
