CDCFIB to Release Shortlisted Candidates for Physical Screening from December 1

Applicants for Nigeria’s paramilitary and security services urged to check recruitment portal for next-stage screening.

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced that shortlisted candidates for physical screening and document verification in its ongoing recruitment exercise will be released starting December 1.

In a statement on Friday, the Board’s Secretary, Abdulmalik Jubril, urged applicants to visit the recruitment portal recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng  from December 1 to 3 to check their shortlisting status.

“Applicants who performed well have been shortlisted on merit and are advised to select their preferred screening venue and date on the portal from Monday to Wednesday,” Jubril stated.

The recruitment exercise covers the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Federal Fire Service, Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), Nigeria Immigration Service, and CDCFIB itself.

Screening for successful candidates is scheduled to hold from December 8 to December 12, 2025, across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). Jubril emphasized that official communication regarding the next stage of the exercise will be through the board’s portal only, advising applicants to disregard messages via email or other channels.

He congratulated successful applicants and reiterated that the selection process adhered to the Federal Character principle and the specific needs of each service.
