Burna Boy Cancels Minneapolis and Chicago Shows on North American Tour

Fans left in suspense as Grammy-winning Nigerian singer removes two tour dates without explanation.

Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Burna Boy has cancelled two stops on his No Sign of Weakness North American tour. The affected shows in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Chicago, Illinois, were officially marked as cancelled on Ticketmaster on Thursday, November 27, 2025.

The Minneapolis concert, scheduled for Friday, November 28 at The Armory, and the Chicago show slated for Monday, December 1, were removed without prior notice from Burna Boy or his management. So far, no explanation has been provided on his official social media pages, and the venues have yet to release statements regarding the cancellations.

Ticketmaster lists both shows as cancelled, with refunds expected to be processed for affected ticket holders. The move came as a surprise to fans, particularly since Burna Boy’s recent online activity had focused on promoting the tour.

Despite these cancellations, the remaining North American dates — including Boston, Washington D.C., Montreal, and Toronto — are still scheduled and active on ticketing platforms. Fans in upcoming cities have continued to request updates and clarity from the singer’s team.

The next scheduled stop on the No Sign of Weakness tour is Wednesday, December 3 in Boston.
