Grammy-winning Nigerian superstar Burna Boy has set a historic record as the first African artist to gross the highest revenue from a single concert tour in Oceania.

According to Touring Data, a global tour monitoring platform, Burna Boy’s “No Sign of Weakness” tour earned $3.1 million from 31,000 tickets sold across four shows in Australia, marking the highest-grossing tour by an African artist in the region’s history.

The milestone was achieved during the Sydney leg of the tour at Qudos Bank Arena, which alone generated $1.117 million in revenue.

The “No Sign of Weakness” tour spans 20 shows across three continents—North America, Europe, and Oceania. In Australia, the four shows sold approximately 30,946 tickets, contributing to the total $3.1 million revenue for the Oceania leg.

This record underscores the growing global influence of African artists, proving that they can sell out large arenas outside the continent. Burna Boy’s tour has now joined the ranks of the highest-earning tours by African musicians worldwide, reinforcing his position as a leading international music figure.
