FC Barcelona have completed the signing of Swedish winger Roony Bardghji on a four-year contract, keeping him at the club until June 30, 2029, the club announced on Monday.
Although the transfer fee was not officially disclosed, Spanish media reports estimate the deal at around €2.5 million ($3 million).
The 19-year-old arrives from FC Copenhagen, where he made 84 appearances and scored 15 goals after breaking into the first team in the 2021/2022 season.
Bardghji faced a major setback with a serious knee injury in May 2024, which sidelined him for nearly a year. He returned to action in March 2025, showing signs of recovery and promise.
The Sweden U21 international is expected to participate in Barca’s pre-season activities. Coach Hansi Flick will then assess whether the winger is ready to join the first team squad for the upcoming La Liga season.
