Wizkid calls himself “boring,” shares daily routine and life priorities

Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has described himself as “boring,” emphasizing that celebrities lead normal lives just like everyone else.

Speaking during a recent episode of Close Friends Only Speed Round with fellow artist Asake, Wizkid revealed glimpses of his daily routine. Asked by Asake for an interesting fact that fans might not know, he said: “I see myself as boring. I wake up in the morning at 6:30, I take my kids to school. We [celebrities] are normal human beings too, man.”

On the three most important aspects of his life, Wizkid listed his daughter Morayo, his music, and God. He also shared his perspective on sustaining a long-lasting music career, citing authenticity, strategic collaborations, and hard work as essential ingredients.
