South Sudan Partners with NCAT to Boost Aviation Capacity

South Sudan takes a bold step in advancing its aviation sector through strategic training collaboration with NCAT.

The Rector and Chief Executive of the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT), Dr. Danjuma A. Ismaila, received a high-level delegation from the South Sudan Civil Aviation Authority, led by its Director General, Hon. John Woja Eliana.

This strategic visit, initiated under the directive of the President of South Sudan, HE. Salva Kiir Mayardit,  aimed to establish a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NCAT. The goal: build skilled manpower for South Sudan’s emerging aviation industry.

*Facility Tour Impresses Delegation*

The delegation embarked on an extensive facility tour of NCAT and expressed high admiration for:

* State-of-the-art aviation equipment
* Comprehensive training programs
* A team of experienced and knowledgeable instructors

They were particularly impressed with the college’s capacity to deliver world-class aviation training.

MoU Signed: Training to Begin Soon

Dr. Danjuma A. Ismaila, while expressing appreciation for their visit, assured the delegation of NCAT’s readiness to support their human capital development goals.
NCAT presented detailed training packages tailored to bridge South Sudan’s skill gaps.

The visit culminated in the **signing of an MoU**, with training programs set to begin shortly for mutual benefit.
