Social media personalities Martins Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman (VDM), and comedian Freedom Atsepoyi, aka Mr Jollof, reportedly exchanged blows during a flight from Asaba, Delta State, to Lagos.
The incident was first shared on Facebook by Dr. Paul Ezikel, who posted a video of the altercation on Monday morning. Both stars were aboard a United Nigerian Airline flight when the clash occurred.
VDM and Mr Jollof have had a history of heated exchanges online, particularly after VDM allegedly involved the comedian’s wife in a previous social media dispute, claiming she associated with “Yahoo boys.”
VDM later confirmed the altercation in a Facebook post, stating he had confronted Mr Jollof. In a video, he said, “I don chop Jollof father for inside plane. He bite me, man wey de bite.”
The mid-air brawl has sparked reactions from fans and followers online, reigniting interest in the long-running feud between the two social media personalities.
