Royal Senchi Partners with Accra Weizo for 2025 Travel Conference in Ghana

As part of the 2025 event, tour operators from across the region will embark on a familiarization tour (fam tour) of Ghana’s iconic sites to deepen destination awareness and travel offerings.

The prestigious Royal Senchi Hotel & Resort has announced its partnership with Akwaaba African Travel Market for the 8th edition of the Accra Weizo Travel Conference, scheduled for Friday, June 27, 2025, in Accra, Ghana.

This year’s conference will feature the West Africa Tour Operators Summit, hosted under the theme: “Re-Imagining the ECOWAS Free Movement Protocol.” The summit aims to bring together top stakeholders in travel, tourism, aviation, and hospitality to discuss strategies for enhancing regional integration and cross-border travel within West Africa.

Organized by Akwaaba African Travel Market in collaboration with the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), Accra Weizo has become a key platform for boosting intra-regional tourism, promoting seamless travel across West African cities, and standardizing tourism services.

The Royal Senchi Hotel & Resort, often called West Africa’s most romantic getaway, is playing a central role in this edition. Nestled along the tranquil Volta River in Akosombo, the resort blends natural beauty with traditional aesthetics and modern luxury. With 84 elegantly appointed rooms spread across 35 acres of lush landscape, the resort caters to both leisure seekers and corporate events, making it a perfect partner for the high-profile travel fair.

The resort’s support of Accra Weizo reflects its strong commitment to fostering regional tourism and providing a world-class hospitality experience for participants.
