Nigerian actress Regina Daniels has voluntarily presented herself for a drug test, amid ongoing allegations of substance abuse linked to her troubled marriage with Senator Ned Nwoko.
Daniels shared a video on her Instagram page showing her at a hospital, announcing her intention to undergo the test.
“Hi guys, so I’m here at the hospital, I’m about to run my drug test,” the actress said in the clip.
The development comes nearly three months after Senator Nwoko accused Daniels of substance abuse, an allegation he made while denying claims of domestic violence levelled against him by the actress in October 2025.
At the time, Daniels had publicly called out the senator over alleged abuse and violence in their marriage. Nwoko dismissed the accusations, insisting they were false, and countered by claiming that his wife abused drugs, adding that he had access to her medical records.
The controversy further escalated when Laila Charani, Regina Daniels’ co-wife, alleged that the actress introduced her to drugs during the course of their relationship.
Amid the growing public dispute, an alleged medical report purportedly from Serenity Royale Hospital surfaced online, claiming that Regina Daniels had toxic levels of marijuana, morphine, opiates, cocaine, and alcohol in her system.
However, Serenity Royale Hospital denied any involvement in the release of the document.
In a statement, the hospital said, “We wish to state clearly that the publication containing classified information of Mrs Nwoko Regina did not emanate from us and respectfully request the public to disregard same.”
Daniels’ decision to undergo a drug test is widely seen as an attempt to clear her name and address the allegations that have dominated public discourse surrounding her marriage and personal life.
The actress has yet to publicly disclose the outcome of the drug test.
