President Tinubu Vows to End Insecurity, Lauds Soludo’s Vision During Anambra Visit

Tinubu commissions Light of the Nation Tower, pledges economic revival under Renewed Hope Agenda.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reiterated his administration’s unwavering commitment to defeating insurgency and tackling Nigeria’s economic challenges, emphasizing that no effort will be spared in restoring peace and stability across the nation.

Speaking during a one-day working visit to Anambra State, the President officially commissioned the Light of the Nation Tower, a landmark project executed by Governor Chukwuma Soludo, aimed at promoting tourism, urban beautification, and Anambra’s identity as a forward-looking state.

Commending Soludo’s development initiatives, Tinubu described the tower as a “bold and symbolic statement” of Anambra’s transformation. He also inaugurated other major projects including the Solution Fun City and the Government House mini-city—both part of Soludo’s ambitious “African-Dubai-Taiwan-Silicon Valley” vision.

“The nation’s state is strong and getting stronger under our Renewed Hope Agenda,” Tinubu declared.
“We’ve tackled many long-standing issues like unsustainable subsidies and chaotic forex systems. Macroeconomic stability is returning, and tax reforms are on the way.”

Governor Soludo, in his remarks, said the Light Tower project was designed to honour Anambra’s founding leaders and serve as a beacon of collective aspiration for shared prosperity.

“These structures—8-lane boulevards, monuments of heroes—symbolize the audacity of our dreams for a new Anambra,” he said. “Mr. President, you’ve seen the beginning. To Ndi Anambra, I say: You ain’t seen nothing yet.”

Temitope Runsewe, Managing Director of Dutum Construction, the firm behind the tower, praised the collaborative effort that made the project possible.

“This is more than a landmark—it’s a long-term economic asset,” he noted. “It positions Anambra prominently on Nigeria’s tourism map while aligning with the broader vision of durable and strategic infrastructure.”

President Tinubu closed his remarks by expressing confidence in Nigeria’s future, asserting that the administration’s bold reforms are setting the nation on a path of lasting recovery and prosperity.
