Bola Tinubu on Monday reiterated his administration’s commitment to tackling banditry and terrorism across Nigeria. The assurance came during a visit to Adamawa State, where he commissioned projects initiated by Governor Umaru Fintiri.
Tinubu commended the efforts of the Nigerian Armed Forces and pledged continued support to men in uniform in their fight against insurgency and criminal networks.
“We are grateful to the Nigerian armed forces for their commitment to liberating Nigeria from banditry and insurgency. Together, we will win,” he said, calling on citizens to cooperate with government efforts to develop their states and the country.
The President also praised Governor Fintiri for the state government’s developmental projects and highlighted the contributions of National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, describing him as a “proud son of Adamawa State” whose dedication is critical in neutralising threats to national security.
“I must say clearly here that you [Ribadu] are doing an excellent job and we are seeing the results. With you, we will defeat the bandits and terrorists. You are a good National Security Adviser – honest, bold, courageous, and committed to the job,” Tinubu added.
