The Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN) will hold an Anti-Doping Seminar/Workshop for all participating team at the Ardova Handball Premier League 2024 phase 1 which is ongoing in Benin City, Edo State.
According to a statement inviting the twenty two teams by the HFN Secretary General Mr. Almu Umar Lambu, the anti-doping seminar will hold this Sunday from 10am at the indoor sports hall of the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium, Benin City, Edo State.
“The Board of Handball Federation of Nigeria, (HFN,) is inviting all participating TEAMS in the on-going Ardova Premier League to attend the Anti-Doping Seminar/Workshop” Mr. Lambu said.
“The essence of the workshop is for the clubs in the Ardova Handball Premier League 2024 to be abreast of the latest anti-doping rules bidding our sport and in extension to our league and the facilitators are seasoned authorities on the matter.”
Mr. Lambu, while thanking the premier league sponsor Ardova PLC for supporting and financing the workshop, urged all heads of contingents of the teams to ensure compliance and attend as it is mandatory for the teams to be represented.
“On behalf of the board of the Handball Federation of Nigeria, I want thank our premier league sponsor for sponsoring this anti-doping seminar as they understand the need for transparency in sports.”
“Thus, all Heads of Contingents should ensure compliance, please, as attendance is mandatory.
Note that there shall be SANCTION for ABSENCE” Mr. Lambu concluded.
