The Church continues to assert its relevance beyond the four walls of worship as JOY IN HEAVEN GLOBAL OUTREACH (JIHGO), in collaboration with the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Kolokuma/Opokuma Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, presents the Jesus Kolokuma/Opokuma Legacy Crusade 2026.
Scheduled to hold from February 17th to 21st, 2026, at the Opokuma School Open Field, beginning 5pm daily, the crusade carries the theme “This Same Jesus Wonders.” The programme reinforces the enduring role of the Church as a catalyst for spiritual revival, social responsibility, and holistic community development.
For several consecutive years, this legacy crusade has been hosted in the same location, steadily building trust and impact among rural dwellers. Beyond preaching the Gospel, the initiative deliberately targets underserved communities with medical outreach, free medical supplies, healing and deliverance sessions, and social support, demonstrating Christianity as both faith and service.
The crusade will feature the ministration of the Word, healing, miracles, deliverance, music, and medical outreach, with a lineup of seasoned ministers including Bishop Dr. Innocent Ekwu, Emmanuel Emmanuel Bratubor, Prophet Oscar Onu, Prophet Stewart MBA (SOG), Prophet Adun Elijah, Rev. Fr. Ezekiel E. Gbozimor (CAN Coordinator), Dr. Andrew N. Yalah (Convener), Dr. Kalu Peter, Dr. Theophilus E. Bolouperemo, Ishaku Tanimu Bawa, Tony Odogu (Bayelsa CAN Chairman), and Paddy Pade Akpas, among others.
In further strengthening societal influence, the event will also host a Ministers and Workers Conference from February 18th to 20th, 2026, between 8am and 2pm daily, with the theme “Building Capacity for Relevance (Seven Mountains of Societal Influence).” The conference will take place at Apostle Dr. Zilly Agrey’s Compound, Opokuma, equipping church leaders to effectively engage governance, education, health, family, media, and other spheres of society.
Speaking on the vision, the convener, Dr. Andrew N. Yalah, emphasized that the crusade reflects the Church’s mandate to be “the light of the world,” addressing both spiritual and physical needs.
“Our mission is to ensure that rural communities are not left behind—bringing the Gospel alongside tangible medical and humanitarian support,” he noted.
Residents, church leaders, and partners are encouraged to participate and support the initiative. For more information or sponsorship, interested parties can contact 08064505707 or 07030254175, or email andrewyalah@gmail.com.
