Galaxy Backbone MD Visits Enugu State Government to Advance Digital Infrastructure for Economic and Social Growth

Galaxy Backbone and Enugu State Government collaborate to drive digital transformation through innovative infrastructure solutions.

The Managing Director/CEO of Galaxy Backbone Limited, Professor Ibrahim A. Adeyanju, recently met with the Secretary to the Enugu State Government, Professor Chidiebere Onyia, and his team to discuss innovative ways to utilize GBB’s digital infrastructure solutions for the state’s economic and social progress.

During the meeting, the focus was on expanding digital connectivity, improving public service delivery, and supporting smart initiatives aligned with Enugu State’s digital transformation goals. Both parties emphasized the significant role that technology and digital services play in enhancing governance, fostering economic growth, and empowering local communities.

Galaxy Backbone highlighted the establishment of its transversal and metro fibre infrastructure throughout the state, providing a strong foundation for improving digital experiences for both government institutions and businesses, while driving efficiency and digital inclusion.

Reaffirming its commitment to Enugu State, Galaxy Backbone expressed readiness to support the implementation of cutting-edge digital solutions, including cloud services, unified communications, and cybersecurity frameworks, all of which will bolster the state’s digital economy.

This strategic engagement further emphasizes Galaxy Backbone’s mission to deploy transformative digital infrastructure that accelerates development and enhances public service delivery across Nigeria.
