She further called for collective action to promote awareness, encourage survivors, and inspire communities to support one another throughout the health campaign.

The First Lady of Nigeria, Oluremi Tinubu, has urged Nigerians, particularly women, to prioritise their health as the country joins the rest of the world in marking Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2025.

In a message commemorating the occasion, Mrs Tinubu highlighted the life-saving importance of early detection, stressing that regular self-examinations and timely medical screenings remain vital tools in combating breast cancer.

“As women, mothers, sisters, and daughters, our health must remain a priority. Early detection saves lives. Regular self-examination and timely medical screening are key in the fight against breast cancer,” the First Lady stated.

She further called for collective action to promote awareness, encourage survivors, and inspire communities to support one another throughout the health campaign.

“Let us work together to stay healthy,” Mrs Tinubu added, extending her warm wishes to Nigerians during the month-long observance.
