FCT Minister Appoints Outgoing Protocol Director as Senior Special Assistant

Alhaji Sani Musa Daura to continue serving in protocol matters after retirement.

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has appointed Alhaji Sani Musa Daura, the outgoing Director of Protocol in the FCTA, as his Senior Special Assistant on Protocol Matters.

A statement on Wednesday by the Minister’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media described Sani Musa Daura as a seasoned civil servant with over 30 years of experience in the FCTA Protocol Department.

Sani Musa Daura, who became the Director of FCT Protocol in 2019, is set to retire from the civil service on January 24, 2026. The appointment to his new role will take effect from the date of his retirement, allowing him to continue contributing his expertise to the FCT administration.
